Accepting is a calling; an awakening, which may be unexpected. You’ll go through seasons of acceptance – just as you’ll experience periods of transition – each person has a unique timeline which governs your  emotional being as it catches up with your physical circumstances (and vice versa).

“When you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.” Buddha

Looking back it’s amazing to think of the infinite places we have accepted as Today. You might remember accepting That Great Moment, thinking that “things can’t possibly get better than this!”, and then they do, and you get to embrace a new Today. Think back to a time when you chose to accept a grey existence, a mediocre relationship, or false “friendship”… why did you settle?

There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.” – Denis Waitley

Accept those people whom you have chosen to keep around you, love them and honor them for how they fill your life. Conversely, accept that you will need to strategically distance yourself from energies that no longer serve you. Accept your responsibilities and your abilities, your life’s situation and the body that you have been born to. Accept your weaknesses with commitment to make yourself stronger, happier, healthier.

We often don't notice our feet until they hurt.  Consider this: the human foot was not created to walk on solid, predictable level surfaces! With 33 joints, our foot should be able to accept and manage rocky, uneven terrain - variable surfaces. Kick your shoes off.  Find some variable surfaces (grass, rocks, trails, sand) and let your feet live!
