Collect all your information – before taping
First: study your Phase I Evaluation, and be certain that you’ve corrected those areas where you lost points the first time.
Then, study the Phase II Scoring Criteria so that you’ll know exactly what is expected of you on this next round. Study the criteria prior to videotaping your class. We are not planning on surprising you! You will have all the tools you need, and you will know exactly what we are looking for.
Order/ Purchase your Evaluation
On your wIN Homepage you’ll find the button that says: Order Your Evaluation Now. Use the drop-down menu to choose your region (because if you are outside the USA, you may have already paid for your evaluation at the same time as your training).
Once your evaluation is purchased / ordered, you will receive a receipt via email. SAVE YOUR RECEIPT.
Return to your homepage. Sign off on our Trademark Policy – this will be required before going any further.
Prepare for the operations for filming and then videotape your 60-minute class
You’ll find all the information you need to know in: Evaluations: Videotaping your Class. A smartphone or digital video recorder will work. Once you’ve recorded, be sure to check the quality of your video – it should be focused and clear, with good sound. Remember: Your video is a representation of who you are.
Upload your video and credentials
Once you’ve purchased / ordered your evaluation, return to your wIN Homepage. Find the link that says: Upload Your Video Now. Be sure to plug in your devices – a 60-minute video may take some time. You can watch the upload progress bar, and you will get a confirmation that your video has been uploaded and sent.
Then you’ll be prompted to upload your National Certifications and CPR – you will enter this information on your profile page. You’ll get extra points for just meeting industry standards – so take the time to complete this important step.
Set up a SKYPE Account
Your consultation will be conducted on Skype. Be sure you have this free software, and set up an ID. Include your Skype ID in your email (below).
Your Development Coach will contact you.
Your Development Coach will send you an email, which will ask for your Skype account name, current phone number, and 3 potential days & times for your 30-minute consultation.
You will find your coach’s available windows on your profile page.
Choose a time that you can sit (uninterrupted) for 30-minutes at your computer, on a Skype meeting. Remember… this is ALL ABOUT YOU!
Have patience (it’s a virtue)
Your Coach will contact you in an email to confirm a Skype appointment time with you. In the meantime, your Coach will watch your video and write a full evaluation. You will receive a copy via email to help guide you through your 30-minute consultation. During this Skype appointment, you will discuss opportunities for growth as an instructor. This is a great time for you to ask questions about exercises, class formatting, music, and advancement within our organization.
