willPower Barre-Fusion® is a hybrid of of The willPower Method® exercises and ballet barre skills. The goal of this full-body muscular endurance workout is to bring local muscle groups to the point of fatigue, and then stretch to lengthen them. The result creates long, lean, toned and healthy muscles.
Barre classes are trending because they are challenging and they produce results. A traditional barre class utilizes a ballet barre as a point of contact, for additional support. willPower Barre-Fusion® is barre-less!
The advantage to working without a barre: standing single leg work exercises are tremendously helpful for creating balance from the ground up. Consider this: WALKING is the most functional of all human movement – and it’s a series of single leg balances!
By relying on your own musculature during unilateral endurance work, you will use systems of the body that are typically not challenged when you have an additional contact point (such as a barre).
Students of willPower Barre-Fusion® love the physical changes they’ve seen… specifically sculpting and strengthening in the lower back, glutes, abdominals and legs. After warming the feet and spine, the class is based on 30-minutes of balance-strength work standing work followed by a 15 minutes of mat exercises.
