This month’s color according to Colorstrology by Michele Bernhardt, is Fair Aqua. This hue of pale green mixed with a touch of the lightest blue is said to evoke “the qualities of trust and clarity” while lifting “your spirits when life seems too drab or mundane.”
Well, in my opinion this color couldn’t have come at a better time! I’m not a fan of winter, in fact, I probably should live in a climate in which 75 degrees is the average temperature. I crave the sunlight, birds singing and simply sitting on my porch swing. After an entire winter dealing with sinus issues bringing me down, I’m really looking forward to spring. As it turns out, I wish I knew about this magic ingredient a little sooner.
This month rather than a recipe, I wanted to give you something that you could add to any recipe that would help bring vitality to the physical body and help cleanse the throat chakra and feed our spiritual body as well. (The spiraling energy of the throat chakra is located in the throat and can provide a full resonant voice all while helping creativity and truthful expression.)
So what’s this magic ingredient? Well, if your Mom was like mine, she always told you to gargle with salt water when you had a sore throat. Mom may have been on to something. Maybe she just didn’t know which was the right salt to use at the time… If she only knew about Celtic Sea Salt.
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Celtic sea salt proves it’s potency by providing the body with all 82 essential trace minerals needed for optimal health and longevity. Other benefits include: regulation of heartbeat and blood pressure, elimination of mucus buildup, balance of blood sugar, alkalinization of the body, provides electrolyte balance, builds immunity and promotes better sleep.
Integrate your salt by sprinkling *lightly* onto foods ,or adding a pinch to lemon water while you are exercising to boost your electrolytes. Another great way to bring more Fair Aqua Magic into your life: create a Celtic Salt body scrub.
Of course to maximize the benefits of using Celtic sea salt, remember to stay properly hydrated. Calculate the amount of water you need by using your body weight number – and transferring to ounces. (If you weigh 135 pound, drink 135 ounces each day. If you are very active and sweat everyday, you will have to drink even more. If you drink caffeinated beverages, you’ll have to compensate by drinking extra then too.
So, is Celtic sea salt magical? I think YES. You try it out and let me know! If you already know it is magical, let me know that too.
