According to Colorstrology by Michele Bernhardt, this month’s color is Coral Blush, a color that “can be used by anyone to open the heart and lift the spirit.” This soothing hue also “aligns with feminine energy” and helps “increase receptivity.”
Are you are single? Looking for that buzz of a summer love? You know, the kind of love that makes you blush! Or maybe you are looking to rekindle that old flame with a life partner? Well, surrounding yourself with this color may help you receive love and tenderness as well as aid emotional healing.
Do you blush when receiving compliments or loving whispers? Do you ever notice someone’s cheeks flush with a reddish-pink tone when they get embarrassed, stressed out or start to fall in love? Are you prone to blushing? If so, you probably already know the power your emotions have on your physical body. Blushing, is actually an involuntary adrenaline response from the sympathetic nervous system.
Funny thing is women spend billions of dollars on artificial makeup to get a “blushed” complexion. May I suggest two additional natural options to cosmetics? First, live in the moment and allow your natural energy centers to shine. Two, eat a rainbow-like diet of fresh organic fruits and vegetables daily.
This month, for more beauty from the inside out, tune in specifically to your root and heart chakras and your watch your loving nature illuminate. A balanced root chakra can help you feel grounded, safe and secure while a balanced heart chakra can help you give and receive love. I offer this mantra that will help keep you grounded while blissfully spreading love this month–Tell yourself “I feel secure in giving and receiving love.”
I’d like to thank Maurita Marley once again for always sharing what seems to be the perfect recipe for the month. It’s quick, easy, delicious and nutritious! P.S. new research shows that strawberries are high in Vitamin C and can help give you a healthy and youthful looking complexion while even helping keep wrinkles at bay. Enjoy!
