Once, a few years ago, I found myself in a hot, sweaty room, twisted into a human knot in the course of my yoga practice. As my body shook in what seemed to be an impossible posture, it was then that my yoga instructor told the class “intention manifests destiny”. On absorbing her words, I understood my need to practice the daunting tasks in my life, in order to increase my tolerance. It would be very easy to “be regular” and struggle through the minutia of daily battles, but I’ve always known that I have a greater purpose.

Life can sometimes feel like a storm when you are confronted with challenges, variables… and people… some who are new acquaintances, some of the usual suspects, and some ghosts from the past who re-emerge. To truly evolve, find purpose in all that you do – in each situation that you bring yourself to.
“There is suffering in life, and there are defeats. No one can avoid them. But it’s better to lose some of the battles in the struggles for your dreams than to be defeated without ever knowing what you’re fighting for.” – Paulo Coelho
