This is the week we’ve all been waiting for…the week when things come together…the week when we THRIVE.
Pregnant women, in your second trimester when the morning sickness and fatigue abates and your bodies start embracing the growing fetus (singular or plural) inside. Marathon runners, after your 20-miler or longest run day. Authors after you’ve nailed the framework and completed your chapter summaries. Fitness models, four-weeks out from stage or shoot when the cumulative weeks of strength-training, diet, and cardio start to noticeably show up.
In any of these scenarios (and many more conceivable), you are truly coming into stride with your vision, and things are manifesting at an accelerated pace. You are embracing who you are or the project you are birthing, and you…your body, heart, mind, project…are embracing you back. This is the reward for the patient and trusting. You’ve kept the faith. Now is your time to THRIVE.
After day-in and day-out of sending up a string of smoke signals…smoke signals saying, “I’m serious about this…(baby, race, book, show, etc.)”, the Universal response is commensurate. You’ve aligned yourself energetically with that which you desire. You’ve become an energetic magnet to attract the collaborative components. Commence THRIVE mode in your chosen endeavor.
I would imagine the other competitors in my state, country, and abroad, getting up at the crack of dawn to do cardio despite sore muscles, growling tummy, and a warm bed. I would lean in toward that collective energy to lift me up (and out of bed). Not in competitive fear or animosity, but in camaraderie. When pregnant, I thought of other pregnant women at that moment and generations before me. Feeling that connection across space and time empowered me out of fear of the unknown…into thriving space of the known. The collective known.
Even when you feel utterly alone, you are not…and you were never meant to feel that way. That is the cry of the ego — the cry of being separate or special, the cry of individual suffering or superiority, the cry of loneliness and fear.
You are only as alone as you allow thoughts of this nature to persist. Once you tap into this realization, you recognize the phrase “I AM” is not intended to emphasize you as an individual, but to emphasize the greater source that connects us all. You are part of an ocean, a field…not a solitary wave or blade of grass in a desert. Tapping into that vastness, you thrive in ways unimaginable and incomprehensible to your small afraid ego self.
So, this week, do yourself — and do the world a favor — take off the visor that shades you from the light of who you are. Step into the limitlessness of “I AM” and become a vibrational match to the word, THRIVE.
