Minimal Running Workshop is Changing Lives

On the last morning of The 3rd Annual willPower Summit, 65 willPower & grace® instructors ran the streets of Denver. It was a sea of black fierceness. Several instructors wanted to call in “sick” because the thought of running literally made several instructors nauseous. After all, “we aren’t runners, we are group exercise instructors…” have no fear, I reassured them.

After SLK gave an amazing Barefoot Running Lecture with great Tips for Getting Started The group also tested out the Vibram FiveFingers® running download suddenly the fear disappeared and a love of running prevailed.

After running .8 miles, the instructors were glowing and smiling from ear to ear. “This is so easy!” Yes, it is… after the Summit was over, Facebook was bombarded with several posts: “I just completed my second, third, and fourth minimal run…” It’s amazing how this quick, basic lecture turned 65 people into runners. Just another step closer to moving the world through The willPower Method® education.

Now it’s time for me to head out on a 9 mile training run.  In my FiveFingers®, of course.
